The Tyne and Wear Metro is a rapid transit and light rail system in Newcastle, England. It started operation in August 1980. Currently, the system consists of two lines and 60 stations.
The system is divided into three fare zones (A, B, and C). A single ticket for one zone is 1,5£, two zones 2,40£ and all zones 3,10£.
